About
Alan joined the Whitefish Community Foundation team in 2023. Previously, he led fundraising, grant writing, community events, and outreach as Director of Development for Whitefish Legacy Partners and the Whitefish Trail. Prior to working in the nonprofit sector, he was Senior Project Manager at Living Roofs, Inc. based in Asheville, NC. Alan holds a degree in Geology from the College of Charleston in SC and grew up in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East TN. Alan spends his free time outside with his wonderful wife Frances and twin toddlers, Sage and Tally.
